        So, I wanted to come back to the modeling of John Hopkins U.(as the Feds are releasing theirs today)

        The day I started this thread I posted the hot link, but not the projected numbers.
        For my own interest, I started a spreadsheet with the projections on it, to see when the actual day comes along, just how close JHU projected numbers are to the actual deaths.

        So on April 1st(the date I started the this thread) the numbers for Canada at that point were as follows;

        9560 cases of the virus
        109 deaths
        projected deaths in 7days (April 8th) ---- 347
        projected deaths in 14 days(April 15) ---- 1078
        projected deaths in 21 days(April 22) ---- 3345

        So now we have reached April 8th, and can compare the first projected number, to actual number;

        Actual deaths up to and including April 8th are; --- 407
        That is 17% higher than JHU were projecting for the April 8th date.

        Looking at their April 1st projection 14 days out(April 15th) was 1078
        Their current projection for 7 days out(April 15th) is now at ---- 1273

        Looking at their April 1st projection 21 days out(April 22nd) was 3345
        Their current projection for 14 days out(April 22nd) is now at --- 3796

        So it's looking at this point that JHU projections for deaths, were on the low side.
