Have to give my own household comment being on a farm well lockdown ain’t a issue i shop as per normal but often come home empty handed. Abide by distancing in shops disinfectant etc.

But real issue is my wife, she was hospitalised with swine flu maybe 7 years ago in hospital for 8 to 10 days isolation ward only in critical for one day. Got ambulances there. Specialist said here immune systems are weak. She got diagnosed with a probably side issue while there fibromyalgia. Any way if she got cv19 highly likely it would kill her.

Hence it’s a serious issue to me and my family.

        Wife goes basically no we’re.

Don’t talk about wool market biggest one day fall in 17 years on Tuesday gonna take years to recover. Chinese mills back in action, can’t get wool there, Chinese can’t get finished product out, and if they could countries can’t get it in and then no shops open to sell clothes. Disaster.

Meat returns holding up just after initial falls grain holding up as well domestic may be king here again if grain can’t be exported and imported and flour moved etc
Your wife is why I have no problem with social distancing. At this time it is the only meaningful way we have of minimizing the risks of covid-19.

Social distancing will not "cure" covid-19, it will only give health care a fighting chance to keep up with the increasing patient load. And it will provide some protection for health care workers. If we were just to let the disease run, not only would we increase the risk to people like your wife, we would increase the risk for all levels of health care workers.

My heart goes out to your wife and family and I sincerely hope you remain safe and healthy Mallee.

If there is any lesson to be learned here, it is that being financially prudent and responsible will be punished, and will result in you having to pay for the irresponsibility of everyone else who now knows for certain that the government will bail them out no matter how badly they mess up. Just shifted a whole bunch more people permanently from the makers, to the takers column, and they will vote accordingly.

Just done a shop in Local regional centre , plenty of distancing, few masks, reasonably quite, anyone coughing did right thing, 4 people to a aisle as well, disinfectant everywhere, reckon I had more chance of marawana or ice in car park of supermarket than finding clacker cleaner or flour or pasta

Hey Malle .. I shit you not I had a whole plan set up for this in 2004 ... thinking of a way to get more for my $2.75 wheat ...

I was told that once I crack the wheat and the endosperm was exposed it would go rancid in packaging... I guess someone finally beat me to it

A day late and a dollar short

This works out to $80 / bus ...... for cat litter
And people think farmers trying to produce food have it easy ... they need a reality check , but so do we !!
