Everyone at public gatherings such as grocery stores and drugstores should wear masks and wash hands before entering at a hand washing station. In other words wherever people are in close proximity. Masks and handwashing will prevent people who are carrying the virus from spreading it to others or spreading it to surfaces others may contact. Please no matter what your political or social beliefs contact your local officials to make it so. The masks or coverings need not be medical grade. They just need to prevent droplets from infected people to spread when they talk or breathe. This will hasten the end of this nightmare. South Korea has proven this strategy. Coverings must provided at entrances and in lineups, mandatory by the merchants such as a superstore.

This should happen immediately in my opinion. It would be so easy to do and if it stopped the spread we could get back to normal life. Make it mandatory for 2 weeks and watch the cases drop.
