I don't get the outrage with Trump. How can he send supplies out of country when his own people in desperate need.

Why can't a country of 33 million people that is rich in resources get organized enough to make face masks?

So the US boss steals or commandeers another countries orders and makes unilateral expropriation that wouldn't have even existed except for a country such as Canada who has always relied on that PRIMARY 3M supplier. OUR BAD!!!!

And for those who think it alright for president trump to steal from little Canada I'd suggest a way to get 1000 more Canadian nurses tomorrow morning and the apologizing to the Chinese for detaining a cell phone person on behalf of the US and shutting off pulp and softwood lumber and lifting up every available right hand middle finger. My guess is that there is a little more to this story than what is being reported. It is very likely that we normally source these supplies from china because that is what we do in canuckistan. Unfortunately china's supplies are a little tied up right now because I've heard they have the flu over there. I am like premier Ford a bit disappointed that the president did make the same decision that Germany did when the Italians came knocking. Anyways wondering what premier Ford is planning to do to unleash Ontario manufacturing? They could have done that months ago. Biggest things lower to do is reduce regulation and lower labor cost by firing 1/3 of the civil service. Neither will happen so domestic production of ppe will not happen either. The other issue here is that the US is doing this under war time legislation and appropriately so since the evidence to thinking folk is that we are dealing with a chinese bio terrorism weapon. It was a priority to get the infection spread in the US and that is why there are significantly more infections there rather than canuckistan which is a chinese satellite state.

I saw the head of FEMA talk about the 3M masks.

They have been on order by FEMA for a month...from 3M... not one delivered to US from US 3M plant... brokers instead selling N95 3M masks to highest bidders outside US. 3M has promised the masks to FEMA for over 2 weeks... said they were in transport to FEMA when in fact they were not. Can understand why FEMA is Angry... Trump had no choice but to call 3M on their dishonesty to FEMA. Trump got the industrial N95 masks quick approval... then 3M shipped to brokers instead of FEMA order.
