Trump knew how to go broke as a business man and it looks like he'll do just fine with the USA as well.
Trump certainly had lots of practice so it will come easy for him!

The CCP, by design or coincidence has sure caught us with our pants down on this whole thing. Allies arguing amongst themselves over simplistic supplies that take little or no talent/education to create in mass yet here we are. People are dying, some who recover from hospital will likely have life altering ailments from scared lungs etc. The economy may fail causing a depression and the blame cast upon capitalism. Businesses, families will be ruined. Governments mostly insolvent already may fail. The first line of Defense between us and them(insert whoever) is the US flat tops which are now being infected by the Chinese flu. The worst part about that is you and I shouldn’t know about this no matter how bad it is, at least not at the time. Doesn’t take a hypersonic missile to put an a/c carrier out of business. Or a spy to inform about it when the leader of the ship thinks he’s running a cruise ship not a war armada. As bad as the Chinese flu is, the hit to the crew would be potentially worse from a missile or other ship and the fight would need to be carried on. Advantage China.

Trumps a moron, a bully, a cheat, an ego maniac, and a liar. It was pretty clear from the start.
Lots of prominent Republicans including the Bush family and John McCain had no use for him. Trump attacked McCain's military service record. While he managed to avoid the draft with a "bone spur"!
Many of his appointments quit.
Republicans put up with him because he has the power and support of many Americans for now.
If the US medical system fails under the weight of covid 19 the blame will placed on Trump. New York is the start.
The mask issue just highlights Trumps failings as a president. China is helping them out now. Is China Trump's friend now?
Trump has ordered American manufacturers to ramp up the production of medical supplies.
Ford has done a good job and has led well on this issue. And is right in saying we should have our own production of many medical supplies.
But when you have a long standing relationship and confirmed order with a regular supplier and then Trump says no you would be pretty pissed.
Just imagine if that happened with supplies of fertilizers or seeds for your farm?
Good for Moe and Ford to speak up and express their anger about Trump.
The traitors on this site who support Trump no matter what he does should hang their heads in shame!

Ditto for those that support Trudeau. And no I am not a Trump fan, since that is the first thing that is going to come out of your mouth.
But it is maddening that you say look over here! Look how bad Trump is doing! When Trudeau (your magnificent leader) is doing way worse.

All the more reason for Trudeau to teach him how to do things. After all he is doing a bang up job!

T.D.S. you got a bad case.
Since you mention it though bankruptcy is likely the only thing close to a moral option that exists now. That goes for more countries than the one you are so fixated on. By the way, did you know Ag Talk is more closely aligned with that other country?

Several Republican states still have not shut down potential sources of infection from public gatherings and don't have the measures in place to control the transmission that we do in Canada.
I am no fan of Trudeau but many posters make a grocery list of all the issues they disagree with as if a lot of the other issues really matter at this point.
I dont see Ford, Moe and Kenney worrying about Trudeau's leadership on this pandemic issue. They have more sense to bring up every political difference to bash Trudeau. WTF would be the point?
