Trump has never balanced a budget in his life. Just follow the bankrupt enterprises he has run and bankrupt contractors not paid by Trump. He never worried about budgets or paying people. Just declare bankruptcy and start over. That is what the U.S. is going to do under Trump.

All the more reason for Trudeau to teach him how to do things. After all he is doing a bang up job!

T.D.S. you got a bad case.

Since you mention it though bankruptcy is likely the only thing close to a moral option that exists now. That goes for more countries than the one you are so fixated on. By the way, did you know Ag Talk is more closely aligned with that other country?

But it is maddening that you say look over here! Look how bad Trump is doing! When Trudeau (your magnificent leader) is doing way worse.
On the Covid issue Trudeau and the premiers have done a better job and Canada's death rate based on current numbers is far lower. The US is on track to look like Italy and Spain.

Several Republican states still have not shut down potential sources of infection from public gatherings and don't have the measures in place to control the transmission that we do in Canada.

I am no fan of Trudeau but many posters make a grocery list of all the issues they disagree with as if a lot of the other issues really matter at this point.

I dont see Ford, Moe and Kenney worrying about Trudeau's leadership on this pandemic issue. They have more sense to bring up every political difference to bash Trudeau. WTF would be the point?

Here is something to think about.

If the USA has a major healthcare crisis that causes even more disruption on the scale of the worst case scenarios like Italy and Spain, the resulting human, economic and political impacts could easily spill over into Canada because our economy and country is so dependent on the US.

We are more interconnected than many countries.

So every Canadian has every right to be very concerend about Trump's handling of this crisis.

He his not healthy for the over 8000 American fatalities. Not healthy for Canadians when he tries to stop masks coming to Canada. As good neighbors the U.S. and Canada should be working together not entering a me first world like Trump wants. The co-operation between Premiers and the Federal govt. should be an example to all compared to the finger pointing between the U.S. and the State governments. They are fighting each other for critical supplies. So yeah obsession is bad but we must take lessons from Trump in what not to do and it is hard to ignore the giant next door with 33000000 people. Quebecers and Ontarians going south for spring break picked up some of the U.S. disaster.

Of course the old establishment including the Bush's, Clinton's, media etc don't like Trump, they are part of the corrupt Deep State that has ****d the US citizens for decades now. And they know they are in trouble, hence Hillary's comment on election night to her staff that "if that bastard gets in we're all going to hang".

Why do you think the "people" rose up and voted him in. They have had enough. We need to do the same here but it nearly impossible with a pro liberal media influencing the weaker minds.

When Obama doubled the debt not a word from the TDSers but when when Trump does it to try to save the nation, Wow!! Just remember pelosi held up the bill and insisted that billions of useless money be added to the bill to help her Arts community etc.

You all better hope their stimulus spending works or the whole world will be in a big hurt, Canada included.

PS. Seems to me on a per capita basis Ontario and California have the biggest debts in the world (liberal run). I stand to be corrected.

Trump knew how to go broke as a business man and it looks like he'll do just fine with the USA as well.

Trump certainly had lots of practice so it will come easy for him!
Seriously, you can predict how much debt he is going to add in the next 4 years. Oh by the way, Trudeau is adding more as a percentage. He is going to double the debt over his 8 years.
