    Happy Easter All

Even though there is no sign spring, no family home and no church it is still Easter.

There is still ham and scalloped potatoes and cheery pie in the oven so Happy Easter everyone!

A much different Easter this year, usually surrounded by family and friends on this weekend but this year we will be celebrating Easter by ourselves. My daughter was to visit us this weekend but on of her kids come down with a sore throat and fever, not likely that it is Covid-19 but still makes it a no go. Happy Easter to all and hope the Easter bunny delivers.

            Pumpkin unreal .

My second family in Montana they have been here we’ve been there.

Last time they visited was a son aged I think 22 in 2015.

We had a roast in his first week here lamb with variety of vegetables roast pumpkin being one.

He commented he had never had it roasted never had it with meat always a sweet dessert over there.

So when I Canada USA in 2017 had pumpkin pie one night at a diner on the road with ice cream loved it

                He Has Risen.

                Happy Easter Everyone.

Still a Catholic but not practising.

Pope is just not on the same page as me. Climate connected to the virus. Like WTF.

Time to spend with my boys and wife as we got snow, yep snow and its a no go for harvest 2019 to continue.

Kind of reminds me of harvest 2019 last fall one or two days harvest then sit for 5. Ah, the harvest that never ends.

                Happy Easter everybody.

I deleted my post happy easter don't need two.

He is risen indeed. The tsn turning point of world history.

Reflect. Marvel. Dust off the old bible and read the tail end of one of the gospels.

                      Have a grand day everyone.

We are having turkey here. Lamb was on Good Friday.

Before we used other sources of fuel, used to use local firewood for farm heating.
In days before chain saws were common, trees were cut and limbed and hauled to yard.
Easter or before was time for four to six man gang to saw into firewood lengths.
Neighbours and relatives would join together to provide manpower.
Circular saw about three feet diameter was used driven by tractor belt pully.
Do not have fond memories, especially when snow had drifted into log pile.
One neighbour told story about time their gang shut down for lunch.
Instead of disengaging tractor pully first someone just shut off ignition key.
Saw blade kept turning and unwound big locknut on end of mandrel.
Blade kept turning, came off and took off over top of pile of blocks.
Man throwing blocks was lucky to be out of the way.
