    WHO and China

Good article in the National Post:"Federal Conservative's raise concerns about COVID-19 data from WHO and its relationship with China." In other headlines I see Trump wants to cut funding to the WHO for the very same reason. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it is probably a duck. Not very often I agree with Trump but maybe he is right on this one.

In January Trump praised China for it's transparency on COVID-19. Now he attacks' WHO' for trusting China? Boris Johnsons 's government just raised it's contribution to WHO. Trump's move is purely political to help his re-election so he can blame others for his failure. There are probably issues with the WHO but destroying it would not be good for the world without another plan.

WHO funding should be cut to zero and Tedros should be arrested and tried for crimes against humanity for facilitating the spread of the CCP virus.

In January Trump was praising China for its Covid response. Now he is pissed because the WHO was trying to carefully manage China to ensure it cooperates.

Trump is criticizing the WHO for mismanaging the outbreak while critics are saying Trump mismanaged the outbreak in the USA.

Just what we need in a time of a global pandemic more China vs US drama and politics and attacks on an international organization that's mandate is to help globally manage fighting this pandemic.

And for exaggerating the death tolls by a factor of 10 fold forcing a shutdown of our economy costing trillions and entire livelihoods and life savings and pensions.

China, WHO, UN, Globalization are DOA. The anger in the public is starting to grow now.

Just wait. When people emerge from their homes, see their lives decimated, they will be looking for someone to blame. And it wont be trump.

I'll be like a spring calf let out of the pen.
                    I'll gladly do with less.
And I've said many times if the economy had depended on people with my spending habits it would be a lot smaller than it is/was.
Did I do well when people were living on fried food and throwing half of it away? Sure. Now I'll do with less

Wishful thinking, with a tanking economy and trailer loads of body bags somebody will take the fall. As hard as Trump tries to blame everybody else the buck will stop at his desk.

It would be good to hear the explanation about how this Chinacentric group is taking $4-500 million per year from the USA while Communist China pays roughly $40 million.
You’re correct, time to arrest the criminals

The United States is the WHO's largest single donor, and the State Department had previously planned to provide the agency $893 million in the current two-year funding period. Trump said the United States contributes roughly $400 to $500 million per year to WHO, while China offers only about $40 million. The money saved will go to areas that "most need it," Trump asserted.

Trump knew as much or more as the WHO our own secret spy units Canada usa knew early January this was a problem. The WHO needs to be held accountable and Gump is trying to deflect his failure towards them solely. Daily lies make belief shit finally has caught up to him having to deal with a real life issue where he has no brains morals or sense of what hes supposed to be doing.
like ordering the governors to open the country back, and when even the republican governors laughed in his face he royally proclaimed that he s given permission to all governors to open things up when safe to do so. hahahahahahahaha well I m granting the province of Saskatchewan to open this thing up when they feel its safe to. There now your worries are over Jazz and I have no responsibility of what happens but I ll take the credit for it being opened up I should be KING!!! I m so *** smart

The US Chamber of Commerce released a statement criticizing Trump’s decision to halt funding to the World Health Organization.

“The Chamber supports a reformed but functional World Health Organization, and U.S. leadership and involvement are essential to ensuring its transparency and accountability going forward,” the executive vice president of the lobbying group, Myron Brilliant, said in a statement.

“However, cutting the WHO’s funding during the COVID-19 pandemic is not in U.S. interests given the organization’s critical role assisting other countries — particularly in the developing world — in their response.”

A number of world leaders have similarly criticized Trump’s decision, arguing that cutting off funds to the WHO will only make all countries more vulnerable in the middle of a pandemic.
