    Diesel Price

What are guys seeing around right now? Haven't phoned for a quote as of late as I stocked up earlier.

If today's numbers are any guide as to where prices go from here, it should be down...

    Current month prices (nearing expiry):
    WTI: 19.48 (-.63 today)
WCS differential: -19.25 (current spot price = $0.23/bbl. Spot may looking like it could go negative soon).

    June:
    WTI: 25.98 (-1.42 today)
WCS differential: -19.25 (currently means $US6.73/bbl)

EIA crude report out this morning:
-Crude Inventories this last week increased 19.248Mbbl, on top of 15.177Mbbl the week prior, and 13.834Mbbl 2 weeks prior.
-Distillate Stocks rose by 6.28Mbbl over last week. The most significant build since Jan 15 2020.

That explains why the local price of diesel went up. Distributor had no explanation either. Haven't filled up yet, there should be better opportunities unless the supply chain gets shut down due to sickness or mandates.

Filled last week when OPEC was talking at 65.5 plus gst. May go lower but was told if I waited any longer the next loads would be blended with biodiesel and I would be better off before that. Dont know if it's a problem but that was the spiel.
