    Rain

Radar says rain went over us and around us, our humidity was in the low 30's at one time today.

I didn't think it could rain with humidity that low....and it didn't.

Not a spit, not a drop.

Wouldn't hurt to get a wee bit to wash the dust out of my ears. Freshen things up, kick start grass and crocus.

Obviously I don't have to combine anything this spring.

Lucky you living on the right side of the "invisible wall", if something falls here it will be MORE SNOW, because we are still ALL WHITE!

      Dear Farmaholic

Currently raining on our mud and snow like it has for a good chunk of today. Only dust around here is when the bale shredder is busting up straw bales in an effort to keep the calves on high dryish ground. You could gladly have all my rain and snow (on ground and yet to arrive) for the next 6 weeks. Still patiently awaiting a “normal” spring day here.

Good thing there’s still a thousand straw bales here ........... might need them all the way it’s going.

Sincerely, a cold muddy guy out with momma cows on the night shift

Snowing here on the other side of Edmonton as Woodland this morning. Anyone who wants rain can come and get it. Snow had finally started to melt the last two days here. Dug the snow out of the combine header yesterday so can get it ready for spring thrash. The problem is now all the low areas will be impassible due to run off in them. Envious of SF3 busy harvesting spring thrash now.

I think I got under wiseguy's skin today.

In the Ghetto, the winter drought seems to be extending into April.

April showers are for "pansies", a prickly old cactus like me has survived many Ghetto droughts.

Been on and off again light rain and snow for a week here. Corrals and yard a mud hole, fields you can now see the tops of the unharvested swaths. Snow has been slowly melting, I was hoping for a quick fast melt so it would run off instead of soaking in. Will not be short of moisture here, likely will have trouble getting 2019 harvest done on lower land.

And to top it off, I plowed around the drill to speed up melting so I could get it ready for spring and it all blew back in.

Moisture-wise(guy).....We are probably in better shape than we were in the spring of 2019.

                Ya I know it's early....

It was just an observation about yesterday's radar and what actually happened.

I'm very fortunate here. And thankful some guys are able to get some crop off before the ground thaws. And sympathize with the guys whose crop is still under the white blanket.

                Everyone wants something different.

Can’t wait, seed in the dust and bins will bust. It’s a lot better than last year. But I noticed the Regina Block setting up but we know it won’t last - right? Mid June, maybe June 17 - ka-pow lightning/thunder and 1.5 inches.olishing my crystal ball 🔮

                    You get it.

I'll take a bit right after seeding please.

We have pot holes now. Last year very few to seed around.

I take what I get.....and complain about it....thats all you can do!
