    Arts ????......check/ cheque

    Everyone else....check/cheque

    Migrant workers? . ..check/ cheque

Quebec old folk homes...check/cheque and bonus army

    Farmers.....???????

Either the government really hates western Canadian farmers or we have really shitty negotiators....

OH OH OH OH I know the answer.

We farmers like the market to dictate our prices and prefer to not get any help.

    Same old bullshit stupid thing.

Our negotiators don't represent farmers they represent the parasites that feed off us.

Watch Monday Trudeau will march out and say he is helping Ag.

    1. To the railways who are under such stress. I will help you out with a billion to build a new office and pay dividends and maybe lay some track.

    2. To all small and medium processors, you guys are also under stress how is 100 million to keep you all quiet.

    3. To the Big boys a billion to keep buying as cheap as you can pay grain and livestock from the farmers.

    4. To the fertilizer and chem companies. Keep buying from china they have a turndown and here is billion for you.

    5. Finally to the banks, Offer farmers low-interest loans about 6% I would guess and we will give you a top off for doing this. Yes, prime is .25 the bonus is for you.

Farmers all across Canada should be so happy for all we are doing to keep you producing cheap food for us to eat.

    Peace out.

The feds asked and our reps here said no problem someone else will farm rhe land that’s lost input capital needs new clients.
The province won’t cost share even the admin of handing a payment out.
Phone your local MP MLa I did and was told there are no real issues by the mp the mla said yes lots of issues but I can’t say anything no one will listen. Phoned the fed minister office they agreed there is issue but said they aren’t getting any requests???? Lmao.

Phone apas your mp your mla and tell
Me what they said then for fun phone rhe fed minister office ask them if it’s true they want requests to come from those that I mentioned.

Doubt it and I also doubt they have to do an olympic average of their gross revenue to get any help....

Farm groups never seem to get it....everyone else gets money....not phucked up two years after the crop formulas based on an olympic average...

dum tee dum tee do off to work is the farm groups mantra...

Do more ag.....ag more than ever....agvocate....nonsense... is getting more money than farmers...

The phucking dummies at agristability are probably receiving government help for working from home....

I keep telling you, they haven't forgot about farmers at all,
Who do you think they are planning to tax the crap out of to pay for this grand socialist extravaganza.
Capital gains taxes, estate taxes, maybe even good old south american style export taxes.

Is anyone taking advantage of the 10% payroll deduction subsidy, kinda peanuts anyway.
Anyone taking the $40,000 interest free loan with a $10,000 principle forgiveness if paid back by Dec 31 2022.
Is anyone able to take advantage of the 75% wage subsidy? Might have to get creative. Not sure how this affects self-employed or non arm's length employees.

I think your farm has to be corporate for some of this stuff.

Unfortunately that’s the only way to pay for this socialist agenda unfolding . This virus just happened to speed up Canada’s path 10 fold .

If you're farm is structured correctly and paying salaries you might just qualify.

Do you operate a "lifestyle" farm or a "corporate" farm. Don't have to farm 5000, 10,000 or 20,000+ acres to be incorporated.

Farmers will be first hit with massive tax increases next year. capital gains will be high on the list, plus personal income taxes. GST increase I'm ok with, everyone pays, and the more you spend the more you pay, and if its business related you can claim it back (at least for now)

With those increases it looks like the Gov would tax the economy even further into recession than it will be.
Going to be a balancing act for sure, but don't worry....Dumbo said budgets balance themselves.

How is a farm different than an electrical contracting, or heating and plumbing, or home builder's businesses?

Both can be corporate and pay salaries.

Ultimately there is probably two issues at hand here. Is/was your business affected by the measures imposed to mitigate the spread of Covid-19 or is your business being affected by 2019's horrible harvest conditions and every other chronic "plague" that besets primary production of Ag commodities?

I have almost resigned to the notion that you should take what you can get because the "fact" is you are going to be helping pay for this!
