    ADM buyout

I see ADM is buying another 1.2million agricore shares. Does anyone know what %this will put them at? They were getting close to 50% already. Do we get to change the signs on the side of the elevators and letterhead yet again? Another american owned grain company perchance, calling the shots in the midst of the Canadian praries? Notice how this all came about? Those "little guys" with less than 100 shares are being bought out. Without the choice to have less than 100 shares. Why do they have less than 100 shares? They were given a partial option the last time the wheat pool was bailed out. Was this all planned? You bet! Chip, chip, chip....

    Research before you rant:

    Quote:

ADM Agri-Industries held 9,092,547 limited voting common shares or
20.06 percent of the Company's outstanding limited voting common
shares before giving effect to the cancellation of shares under
the share consolidation program. Following the purchase of
shares pursuant to the private placement and after giving effect
to the planned use of proceeds, ADM Agri-Industries Company will
hold 10,612,547 limited voting common shares or 23.42 percent of
the Company's outstanding limited voting common shares.

Yes, you are correct, I must eat crow and recant my rant. ADM owned close to 50% of UGG's shares before the merger with agricore. Looking at thier corporate website however, it won't be long before they're at the magic 50% of the new co.
