Drew has a heavy cooling period around the middle of May so Canola seeded early will be bye-bye.
Can you seed wheat too early? I don't think so best to put it in early then it comes off in fall

Is that a D6C? ............... sure looks like ours but you’ve upgraded the air intake from the original. Always nice to start in the field even if it’s a little behind schedule.

If it's d6c older than what I ever ran, what I know is muffler ahead and intake precleaner where exhaust is. Maybe a d6b, or likely komatsu.

            I say D7E
Or a D8H, but the hood doesn't look long enough.

Hood on a 7 should have more of a taper to it, at least on a f or g, which had a turbo 2 precleaner. Spent lots of winters staring at exhaust pipes.

Maybe lowhorse 8h, oldtimers knew by the exhaust pipe location, I was told but don't recall.

It is an interesting discussion, but I still think the real of fake thread was more fun than guessing the equipment by the view of the hood.

I disagree, having the most fun all winter, my vote goes to d7e hh, last time I sat on one was in 1981.

                        All that guessed D7E are right. 1965 D7E 47A.

I was going to guess 7E but you revealed to soon, I have a mid 70's 7F and the intake and exhaust are in a little different place on the hood, and the hood widens out more at the front because the rad is wider. It was one of those that were built in Japan, the starting instruction plate over the steering clutches is all written in Japanese. I was cleaning runs and moving snow the other day, fan blades are still turned to suck, by the time i was done my balls were quite sweaty.
