No hospitals in NA were overrun. But keeping beds open for patients that never materialized certainly broke the doctors code of do no harm. Our physician politicians eggheads have done irreparable harm to our overall health and well being including our means of supporting ourselves.

CBC today ran with the story of people DYING because of postponed treatment? Must be true.

Still 98.6 % NEGATIVE but never hear WTF were those sick with if they had symptoms that warranted testing. 98% of the 1.4% are mild also. That leaves about the 4-10in hospitals. Oh ya 1000 icu capacity...

Local young woman 5 months pregnant went to hospital in a bigger town as directed to have her ultrasound, found it empty. No one in waiting room. Not one person. Receptionist said, yes, it's eerily quiet.

Turns out that this entire mid-sized town hospital is dedicated to treating Chinese Flu patients. Thanks for not telling her this, right?

So in our greater health unit catchment area, there have been a very limited number of deaths attributed to the Wu Flu.

And yesterday, it was reported that there have been 35 known deaths due to delayed medical procedures, far more than the deaths attributed to the Chinese flu.

And that's just within a 40 or 50 mile radius of some major area hospitals.

Not true, Jazz. It only takes a phone call to the hospital lab, here, and they will do your routine scheduled blood test

Both my mother in law and wife were due for yearly physicals early this month. They had a phone consult with the doctor who gave the requisitions but told us that labs not taking anyone yet. Maybe that's changed now.

My dad was scheduled to see a specialist this month, postponed to who knows when.
