Some snapped off when they were given a good back and forth jerk. I'm getting too old and out of shape after a long lazy winter..... I have a carpenter's belt that holds the staples and the fencing pliers.....I could barely latch the clasp around my waist...it was tight. I never adjusted it as a reminder I need to be in better shape. Middle age spread sucks. Oh yea, I don't have a post pounder and never used a mallet....they were pushed in with a front-end loader with the bucket full of dirt.....no trouble. Not a big job.

What I wanted to point out was there was no mosquitos, no crocuses, no ticks and grass is slow for May 3rd. Trees still seem to be asleep too.
If the belt was made out of leather, it probably shrank over winter.

But if it was made out of a cloth material . . . . . remember a full bin never tips over in a wind storm.

LOL...it must have shrunk. That's the only logical explanation.

I don't have a real low center of gravity so afew extra pounds in the wind tunnel does come in handy.
I used to be able to split the wind more than I do now...

You’ll have more ‘to go on’ if things get a bit rougher.

Without the Rider's to watch I won't be gorging on my BIG bowl of heavily "buttered" popcorn....like fattening up a steer, I might lose weight or find another excuse to indulge.

Over that timeframe our start dates for seeding anything ranged from April 26 to June 1. You’re much more “regular” than I apparently. Hoping to start maybe this weekend here on some light ground as long as the rain forecast for Thursday disappears (not likely though) from the forecast.

P.S. I noticed that 2020 is starting tomorrow ........... Mother Nature would sabotage my plans if I threw an exact date out there for the world to see. She’s a real ruthless ***** at times.

              Good luck🍀

Thanks woodland. I hope the Machinery Gods are kind as well. They've already tested my patience this spring.

Now with the main event coming again Sat/Sunday it looks like next week is a go. Should finish harvest if we get today till Sat. But rain went over last night, at least radar said it did.
