Ya that early frost did a lot of damage in areas

Growing season the past three years has been shorter, not longer, in many many areas .
So far this spring more normal, but we will see come August/ Sept ... who knows

Yup , neighbour had a small bin of heated canola , $3.60 /bus . Said that have so much shit Canola coming off they have no idea what to do with it . Add that to all the frozen and heatedcanola all winter ... how does that figure in to total stocks .
I pinned down one trader this winter at a meeting , after the presentation about huge canola stocks , I asked a simple question “ are all the unharvested acres / bus counted in the overall total stock projections” ?? He said yup absolutely..... I just shock my head .
Man we get ***ed as farmers is Canada

Now that Covid is starting to relax will you guys be asking for the CGC to resume with harvest sample program or maybe that is something the CCGA should be pushing for.

Unfortunately your right bucket , people getting free money to stay at home ... no incentive to work . Kinda reminds me of something else that’s been tried for around 100 years ... but I can’t quite put my finger on it ........ 🤔

Can you elaborate on that? What is wrong with the spring thrashed wheat?

Frosted and mildewed to oblivion. Some has sprouts, some looks like it’s got some swath heated going on. Everything I’ve seen has been a feed.

On the plus side it’s dry as a popcorn fart.

Don't try to clean up the sample on spring thrashed wheat, the lighter the better with SCIC. Know what you want....

Wrong, afsc anything making 52 lbs, which is cgc spec is feed, but anything under 58 no one will buy.

Remember all that fusarium laden wheat that was only fit to be hauled to the bush? If you can sit on it....keep it.
