The next time Justin has to tell us how to wash our hands and he has our back, watch Brian "Rock this Town" instead, it's easier on the blood pressure . . . . and more uplifting.

There is some hardship though as a poor young lady loses her shirt at the !:25 mark.

        Party on Rumrocks!

As mentioned three quarters through this video, Marvin Ryder Prof with McMaster's University compares.....Canada's debt:GDP ratio(35% pre-Covid spending spree----45-50% post-Covid spending spree with a smaller GDP) compared to the average Canadian citizens debt:income ratio(177%). At the end of WW2 Canada was at 110% debt:GDP. Looks like we have a way to go.... NO PROBLEMO.

Please explain skippys plan to anyone. Students getting 9B while our patch gets 1B?

Name one single economic expansion initiative that Trudeau has ever done and don't say dope. That business is slowly going bust too.

He has only ever done one thing, take debt and give it away to pet projects and other countries.

Trudeau isn't just a socialist. He is a Marxist and there is a big difference.
Well he sure likes giving the indians money. $240,000,000 was handed over to them just before the virus emerged and whataya know? they shut their mouths real quick. Oh , and the protests as well. I am getting real tired of working people getting less and all of these " groups" getting more!

The capitalists in this country are socialists as well....don't want the shareholders to take on risk....nope the taxpayers have to bail them out ...

Wage subsidies....how about people take a lower wage when this is over or work a little harder ...get another job....farmers have been told that for years by the same people that couldn't go two weeks before singing like a meadow lark...

We waited quietly over winter to finish harvest...hardly a peep about the issues in grain farming...

Now the ranchers are going to phucked over again....they are busy with their cows right now...so apparently there isn't an issue ...so it will be ignored...

Bottom line...the people that bitch about farmers are too phucking lazy to farm....

            And these handouts proved it.....

Most of you guys are barking up the wrong tree. Some of you need to take off your hyper partisan glasses.

Trudeau and the Liberals have a 10 point lead in the polls and are back in majority territory.

See the thing is it is really difficult to argue that running a big deficit to keep people from living on the streets with no food is a bad thing to do in the middle of the worst financial crisis in nearly a 100 years.

Even the federal Conservatives and Provincial Conservatives aren't about to call for a smaller deficit because they would do the same thing, just like Trump by bailing out those who need it most.

Kenney is even asking for more federal support, so Federal deficits are not his worry.

If the Conservatives run on cutting the ballooning deficit before the economy returns to a stronger state then the Liberals could have a 20 point lead in the polls.

"Moreover, the federal government’s response to the outbreak has widely been well received by Canadians—at least so far. From EKOS’ poll report: “Confidence in the federal government is at 75 per cent, the highest score EKOS has ever recorded.” Justin Trudeau also receives a generally positive approval of his handling of the crisis: 67 per cent of respondents approve of the Prime Minister (an equal fraction of respondents approve of Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland)."

It seems as if a lot of the grousing on Agriville is about why farmers haven't gotten their fair share of bailouts. That hardly suggests deficit cutting is a priority.

Most farm safety nets are inadequate. But many farmers have made a lot of money in the last 10 years and don't need a bailout. But if you want a bailout and then want a smaller deficit you are sending two different messages at the same time.

......another $300/child bribe was announced yesterday. Pretty easy to appeal to people who aren't worried about who is going to pay for all this "free" stuff.

"To wit, back in January I wrote an analysis of a Léger poll showing the risk facing the CPC should it choose to pander to its social conservative base. Numbers regarding abortion, same-sex marriage and religious values, to name a few, all pointed towards the same conclusion: to grow its base of voters, the Conservative Party would be far better positioned with a moderate, centre-right, leader.

Yet, in recent weeks, it appears the Conservatives have been going after the 1.6 per cent of voters who sided with Maxime Bernier’s PPC last fall instead of trying to appeal to the centre of the political spectrum—where most accessible voters can be found.

In other words, the CPC may be on the path of doubling down rather than adjusting.

The point is not that this strategy cannot work—we do not know that—but it sure appears much riskier for the CPC to leave this much space to the Liberals near the centre."

This virus is a liberal/socialist's dream come true, handing out money to people, knowing full well the liberals will be emotionally remembered in a positive way at the voting booth.

Farmaholic is right, I bet it would surprise us the number of people who think government money just magically appears.
