    Tariff Man

    Trump is at it again threatening China with tariffs over COVID-19. With the economy in a depression he thinks more tariffs will help. Moron in chief. There will be time to settle blame after this is over. He is only looking to shift blame to China to cover up his mishandling of the crisis.

    The W.H.O. miss handled the crisis, and State Health Dept.s, like in N.Y., miss handled the Wuhan Flu.
    You do realize that each State's Health Dept. decided how to address the Pandemic, what and if any restrictions were to be put in place. Some States had no restrictions, trying to blame Trump is just another liberal screaming, Orange Man Bad !

    The W.H.O., which is an agency of the United Nations(which explains their corruption) didn't declare a Pandemic till Mar 11th/2020,,, Trump was already closing the borders to non-Americans, weeks before that date.

    The WHO was telling the world, including the USA, that it doesn't spread person to person, that masks don't do anything, that no travel should be restricted, etc.,,, Trump was taking it as seriously as the WHO was describing and presenting it, which that it wasn't so severe or dire. The WHO miss led the countries of the world, including the U.S.A.

    If tariffs can help Chinses made items, to be manufactured in the USA or another country, that would be a great help to the world,,, even if it were only 10-20%, and or especially crucial things like medicines or PPC.

      Trump is probably going to nullify their $2T in treasury holdings too and ban them and their currency completely. Use the DPA to force companies back home.

      Chinas pain is deserved and only just beginning. US resurgence in the cards now.

        Agree, but Canada and many other countries now questioning the mishandling of the info from the WHO and China .
        It’s not just the U.S. that has realizes the corruptive link between the head of the WHO and the Chinese government.
        A lot of questions do need to be asked . Even Australia looking into the debacle as well

          The Five Eyes, yes Canada included, is investigating the lab as well as several of the researchers. Is Trump acting on the information we are giving him and we are simply sweeping it under the rug due to personal financial investments of the LPC?

            Seen news other night CBC even. Said Chinese government was goading expats to hoard ppe in January. Buggers knew full well the situation. Crooked slimy third world despots can never be trusted nor dealt with. Trump is a nob but I think he’s right about China. The faster we can repatriate industry and strengthen economic relationships with less hostile powers, and beat China’s encroaching sphere of influence around the world the better we’ll be. Get into Africa and try to push out the Chinese. Ban Chinese investment at home as well.
