Was China honest about the disease from day one? No. Was there a concerted Chinese coverup of the disease? Probably. Did China keep details of the disease from other countries. Yes.

The US is trying to distract from its incompetetance in dealing with Covid by endorsing conspiracy theories and this political strategy is frightening; maybe more so than the disease. Have we learned nothing from the last time this game was played and a middle eastern war resulted from the US claims of Iraq having weapons of mass destruction?
