Our state had 14 corona free days but today a traveler returned from uk in late March bugger me he’s got corona so we going slightly backwards....

Issue to aged health care or old folks semi independent homes. Fark me we have to put a bond up of 350k for entry. Geez. If and when my mother passes on we get it back in full.

Can see why it’s empty now and two weeks to find it.

Makes me want to move to utopian western Canada. Bit cold for me but.

Based on assets.....if you have assets over 250k you have to pay the 350, well we’re does the extra 100 k come from if you don’t have it, gonna talk to my local politician about it.

That seems like they just want to simply strip the last bit of wealth from a person at that stage in life is not right.
But it’s not much better here . If you want into decent care home it’s pushing $5000 a month.
It all just seems so wrong while governments hand out money hand over first for their own pet projects and leave veterans and seniors out to dry .
