This is the second Crop of Canola I will seed with the Chinese blockade still happening on my Canola.

Yea canola was 9.98 the other day that's a far cry from the 12.50 we use to get paid.

Trudeau and the Liberals don't even talk about Canola loss any more.

    Were studying it.
I have bad news for you Sask, a lot of the parts on all colours of farm equipment are made in China. Bearings, used to be if I bought Timken bearings they were all made in the USA, now a lot are made in China. In buying parts for my machinery a lot of CNH parts come from China, certainly some John Deere parts, I find more of my AGCO parts not made in China. I have lots of different colours in the shed lol. Aren't all of our GPS systems made in China? Unavoidable, we are truly China's b###h!

The a.i. for most herbicides and pesticides are made in China so does this mean SF is going organic? For sure will not be using any glyphosate products anymore so will SF and bin lurking become best friends?

        I agree in principle.

Disagree in reality it hurting my hip pocket wool and barley.

So it’s come out the five eyes are watching China , Canada Australia New Zealand USA UK

First three have export based economy to a degree. So they gonna feck us all over?

Our biggest market fo barley and wool dunno how o if we gonna find othe markets markets are finite.

Domestically we won’t have huge premium this year unless god forbid a drought happens we’ve had 30 yearly rainfall last weeks
If it's like most other products China cuts off they will still be buying it.

They run the price down and then bring it in through Vietnam or Macau mostly.

Neither the US nor China will play by the rules if they can get away with it. Both are willing to bully smaller weaker countries into submission.

The US has a long history of imposing tariffs on some Canadian imports for domestic reasons.

Managing these trade relations is often a no win situation. Any suggestion that any individual country outside of the US is going to have much influence on China is wishfull thinking.

Escalating a trade war during the biggest economic disruption in many decades is probably a bad idea.

China is not doing this because we hurt their feelings.

This is a straight up power play for world domination.
