    Minus 10 on May 10, how you like dem apples? That’s Environment Canada’s temp, prolly 3 degrees colder in the Wascani Flats. Gonna be hard on the trees. Apple tree just starting to bud.

            Local area looks to be on time for average seeding start, peas and cereals been going in since May first.
            Some hold up from unharvested crop, especially high water table areas.
            Little run off into sloughs, not so many to go around, even big ones getting back to normal.
            With a bit of luck should finish seeding in May.
