Oh. My. Goodness. Just now looked at the forecast for SW Ontario - today: 24. Monday: 28. Tuesday: 33. Wednesday: 31. Followed by 24 - 21 - 20.

This is gonna be interesting. I found last week's high of 25 hard to adapt to. On the upside, the trees have almost enough leaves to provide a bit of shade...

A shot of rain would be welcome here is the Slum of the Ghetto.
At least it's not blistering hot.

48 hrs. after planting, 1/2 -3/4" sprouts. Opposite of last year when they were 3 weeks and more starting and coming up.

Sorry should have made a cleaner background.

I've been doing this since 1977 and it still gives my a thrill to see those lil rascals do this.

          Every. Time!

            2 1/2 inches rain here.
One good day should wrap it up.
Maybe Tuesday. Lucky the last stuff on sand. Some guys could be toward end of week.

What a difference a mere inch would do here.

Still debating if it's worth the effort to hook onto the drill.

A mere inch here would mean pulling my quad out of the field with the cat.

Such unreal variations in moisture! WTF is going on? Drowning in MUD and dying in DUST!
