And to irritate our trading partner and big brother to south sounds like a recipe for disaster in this country...
Who would you rather have at your doorstep.....China or USA?????
People here can shit on trump or the americans all they like....try doing it in China or under China's control .
Some people don't understand the value of free speech in Canada and an open border between our countries.
As a farmer I don't see a bunch of americans buying up farmland here...actually the opposite ...there is a move for canadian farmers to go south...

Not sure what all the noise is about coming from Sk3,( bad hair day)the USA who is Canada's ally and biggest trading partner asked Canada to detain her.
"Under the terms of the extradition treaty, the U.S. could request Meng's arrest in Canada if she was wanted in connection with conduct considered criminal in both Canada and the United States, and if the offence carries a jail sentence of a year or more. Once that threshold is met, the treaty compels Canada to act."
Sk3 you can't stop praising the USA every chance you get but when Canada acts on their behalf you run Canada to the ground. The court will decide Meng Wanzhou faith that's the way it works, the Canadian government did their part according to the extradition treat they have with the USA.

We're supposed to have an independent judiciary in this country.
Whether we do or not? Your guess is as good as mine.
Either way the decision goes, we will have to live with the consequences.
Just too bad we had to get ourselves involved in a pissing match between the US and China in the first place.
Who would you rather have as an ally? The United States or China?
I know what my answer would be, hands down — even if the current leader is a loud-mouthed confrontational moron.

So what will they attack Canadians with this time.
Maybe Feed Barley for Malt in China.
Or maybe they will call in the debt that Trudeau has run up.
Either way Canadians are not going to come out of this very well.
If they want to send a message to Canada, they should publicly execute one of the Michael's. Show their true selves.
