"How come the people i know in China and Canadians of Chinese ancestry already know that the deal is done.
A prime example I Got a call yesterday and the first thing out of there mouth was good news Canola sales will be back and Meng will be let go. Its time to get happy and start buying again. "
A B.C. Supreme Court judge has delivered a major blow to Meng Wanzhou, ruling that extradition
proceedings against the Huawei executive should proceed.
So you and the "so called" people in China you claim to know are all full of shit!!! Just the usual Rant from SK3.
I'm sure all your LIKE BUTTON Righty buddies will come to defend your stupidity !

BS the Chinese takeover is a product
Of free market capitalism.
Led by Bush the first one , and Clinton.
And another Bush.
Big Capitol wanted the freedom to move
Production anywhere. And Free movement of Capitol.and labor , Globalization.
Anyone that opposed it was a backward
And socialist.
You got exactly what you asked for.
Cheap stuff made in low wage countries
And huge corporate profits.
And now you are going to complain about the
Consequences.
Plus there were some benefits to farmers like us.
People now had enough income to eat more than a bowl of rice.
It is a mixed bag in many ways, but stop blaming the
Bad stuff on
The people that had the least to do with it.
And it is really ironic, the Republicans in the states
That demanded it in the first place are now bitching
The loudest

How do you stop this economic invasion?
are we going to prop up our industry
With . Tarrifs etc
Have our ag chemicals made here
Instead of China. Driving up our costs.
Making us uncompetitive selling to the world.
3 years from now are we willing to pay 3-4 times
As much , to make stuff here like PPE for the next
Pandemic. Or castings or bearings,
I know you do not like the term socialism.
But that sounds like what your asking for.
We need a balance , the danger of farming out all
Production is real. Esp. Witnessing the recent Actions if the
US and China.
Also a danger of pricing yourself out of world
Markets by too much protectionism.

I'm not sure you got the cost/benefit ratio right Let's see, bearing made in China is $35.00 and you go through 3 a year. Bearing made in US costs $89.00 and lasts 5-7 years. Hmm? But China does keep the economic engine of Princess Auto cranking. Now, how do you say "Power Fist" in Mandarin?
