When concentrated urban areas rule the rest of the country’s people it leaves vast inequalities.... look at Canada right now . A relatively small area concentrated in southern Quebec and southern Ontario are basically running the whole show with little regard for the rest of the “land” . Add that to a PM that refuses to open Parliament for the next 4-5 months and we have a near dictatorship, not a democracy that supposed to be . An electoral college helps even out the issues for the land and people .
