    Pod shatter, shatter resistant, blah blah blah.

    Be careful because every SeedCo will rate one of their products as shatter resistant....even if it isn't very good.
    Everyone SeedCo wants or feels they need one in their portfolio....can't lose market share you know.

      Is there any margin in the seed business at only $700 per bushel?

          You are right there are many areas with completely different conditions. Not saying what works for us is what you should do.

          Our biggest risk, once crop is established is swathing. More than one year I have seen canola hanging from the powerlines here. Because of that risk, anybody with any amount of acres, puts in pod shatter resistant. Simply risk management.
