the problem here was they had to quit early and start late ,or it would go out the ass end, it was standing though , very short days when conditions were shitty
the green comment was a weak attempt at humour, lol. the red ones were the same

You are right there are many areas with completely different conditions. Not saying what works for us is what you should do.

Our biggest risk, once crop is established is swathing. More than one year I have seen canola hanging from the powerlines here. Because of that risk, anybody with any amount of acres, puts in pod shatter resistant. Simply risk management.
