Police not welcome at pride parade?

Would like to hear from the Agriviller ( RCMP are Scum) and his Like Button Buddies on the Chief Allen arrest. They were doing a lot of chatting on other race related threads particularly regarding FN people.

It looks like the incident started out heated. Maybe there were words not well chosen. Are the RCMP well Enough trained on how to deescalate?

An expired license plate should not be a big deal. Write the ticket and bugger off is the usual routine.

The reality is some cops use too much force and are racists. It’s a real issue and hard to understand if you are not one of the races subjected to over policing and harassment.

Denying it exists is not an option especially when see all the range of videos coming forward.

There are lots of examples of the mistreatment of people at the hands of police.

There was an article about how great the CWB was after it had been removed. It said farmers had seen prices as high as $9.00 per bushel under the board. I don’t recall what the price was at that time, but it was obviously lower.

The article forgot to mention that when farmers received that $9.00 per bushel, wheat had reached over $20 per bushel that year.....awesome system.

Because the situation escalating had nothing to do with the lady driver putting the truck in drive to drive away from the cop before he wrote the ticket. And then the man exiting the vehicle and getting in a fight stance....

Wrong is wrong. If you are driving around with an expired plate, that is on you. It is a law, made to be followed. I saw nothing wrong with the way the cops handled themselves in this situation. The man was a threat to their safety and they did their job.

If you recall, my gripe was about them not doing their job...but I guess you just want to smear anybody that doesn’t agree with you.

This had nothing to do with race, but thanks for trying to make it about that...But if you recall in my prior argument about scum rcmp, I feel it is a product of them not policing as they should in the last decade, and now they are having to re-assert themselves to get respect (fear- or call it what you want) back. I wasn’t around 40-50 years ago, but from what I have heard, you didn’t act like that chief did around an officer for fear of the repercussions.

Oh and P.S.- what general area are you from again? Seems if you have to hide, you shouldn’t be doing or saying the things you are.

This time I agree with Chuck. One in 10 people are not good guys, cops or not. Keep that intrenched in your brains.

Today 30 km. at about 10 AM Speed zone past 2 high schools. 3 or 4 cop cars with radar both ways. There are NO kids in school or at playgrounds. Lately cops just focussed on these zones. If oncoming car flashes their lights know the sign. I try not to speed but have heard people charged for 33 klicks in 30 zone. Think this is responsible use of taxpayer dollars?

Pretty soon you can’t open your mouth or take a leak in the bush. Too many cops with nothing to do, thick as thieves. Are they in the hood arresting gangs with machine guns? Or hunting down pedophiles?

Police are no angels and arent that great at critical thinking which they proved during the covid scam and drawing weapons on the lethbridge stormtrooper, but in this case, the force was justified. The cop coming on the scene was backup and he enters a situation with a single cop surrounded by several hostile people. Subduing the main combatant is the main priority.

But this will be played for the race card it is in canada now. We will all be blamed for it.

Guess you better not let your plates expire or light bulb burn out or any minor infraction. When cops come across as thugs, they will meet someone who doesn’t like thugs and does not respect them. Bullying is bullying and in our society the law will punish bullies too.

Agreed the plate infraction thing is pretty harsh. They impound your vehicle, fine you and make you get some one to give you a ride home, then next day at the station trying to straighten it all out. I mean why cant the cops be set up to write you a 24hr permit if its a first offense or something.

Yes there are lots of things that could be done to streamline the service and minimize public interactions like this, but if you have ever been to a city council meeting, they love more bylaws not less. It starts with our idiot politicians dreaming this stuff up in the first place.

Yes those are my words, and not afraid to say that. They were lazy in the situations that I put forth. And they did their job this time. What is your point?
