Don't laugh, this method apparently works very well, as any Canadian cattle producers who lived through BSE can tell you. While Canada was testing for, and knew what to look for thanks to wasting disease, found multiple cases, the US with 10 times as any animals, and selective vision, could only find one animal, and traced it back to Canada.

Always worry about your largest trading partner when you are in a business that exports 80% of its production. Certainly popular here to support the stable genius in spite of the continuous showing of how unstable he actually is who on a whim could affect trade with Canada affecting your bottom line far more.
