We basically missed this rain event but we are in a fortunate area so far this year
Crops that have been looked after look good so far .
But we all need more heat units to get crop moving along here .
I wonder why heat units a on the low side yet again for the 3 rd year in a row across much of western Canada 🇨🇦.

Mid to high twenties forecast for next week, which would be just about right......had we received a meaningful rain lately.

Just checked the Weather station at the farm and looked at the Cameras. We did get up to 2/10 now total rain since last Friday. WOOHOO FML.

First seeded canola after liberty spray is covering the ground very nice. The only reason it’s handling the dry conditions is because of last falls rain every second or third day. We are wet below ground. Roots going down. Last nights cool temps remind me of 2002. Very bad year froze early days of August. Yea it was a cluster **** as everything wasn’t ready got a ag stab payment and had to pay the entire amount back. That’s a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Cold again this morning Furnace going and zero rain then drizzle spit nothing.

Cereals here so yellow look like sprayed with roundup.

Lots of yellowed off cereals here now . Some still look perfect depending on herbicide
But yes I hear some areas crop are yellowing off bad on their own even where this wet and cold weather is excessive
