I never said he spoke for the majority, I said he spoke for lots and any party ever hoping to form a government will need some of those votes. Neither the Liberals nor Conservatives will ever have enough base support to form the government on their own. They have to more appeal to the center moderates who switch from one party to the other. They also cannot divide the vote with fringe factions forming their own parties. But then there are people like yourself who will not accept my Conservative background because it is not "conservative" enough for your criteria and instead of trying to earn my vote you would rather insult me. Unusual election strategy!

It’s never a one way street , but it is for chuck and a few others .
Us knuckle dragging farmers are very much smarter than he gives the 90% of us credit for
I would say he needs to listen a lot more than us.
Better re read the majority of his posts about name calling criticism and laughing ... the vast majority of responses to chuck are precisely because of what he exactly say most of us do
Two sides to every story , take blinders off
Farmers may be smarter but only make up 2% of the population. Therefore we will never even come close to having the votes to win an election. And even those calling for Wexit will still be outnumbered by urban votes, perhaps even more so as we lose all the much smaller eastern farmers who likely are a significant percentage of farm numbers - I AM NOT SURE of what the percentage of western farmers would be compared to western urban population numbers. And what western voice should the public listen too anyway? The current commodity groups? The NFU? Keystone? ASAP? Is there even a viable Alberta general farm organization? Or how about CropLife, that is behind the changes that is going to give us Seed Synergy? I wish there was only 2 sides to every story but unfortunately the farm side is so divided the other side doesn't have to do a thing, we just argue amongst ourselves.

I have clearly stated Trudeau and Morneau were in a conflict of interest when it came to the decision to award a contract to the WE organization. They obviously made a large error in judgement. The decision was reversed.

It’s amusing to listen to the agrisilly crowd try to define who’s a Marxist who’s a good conservative. Apparently people who think scientific evidence matters are marxists! Lol

Further it is too funny that so many of you despised the CWB and then vote for the Conservative party that supports supply management which is an obvious state controlled marketing system for a select group of farmers. Conservatives must all be Marxists! LMAO! And then you are disappointed because you don’t get more subsidies! It’s the vote right? live left capitalists at work.

Let’s face it most Republicans in the US think Conservatives in Canada who support universal Medicare in Canada Must all be socialists!

Many posters seem really confused and inconsistent in their views. It’s like the Cold War never ended and you jump to label those you disagree with with outdated Irrelevant labels.

I do think the latest version of the Conservative Party of Canada is to rigid and narrow in their views. The Liberal party has been very successful because they are chameleon like in that they change to the whims of the populace and are much better at selling their line of BS. Look at Justin Trudeau, truly a moron but he was smart enough to see that when the NDP does well conservatives do well so he moved the Liberal’s policies to the left almost nullifying the NDP and neutering the Conservative party in the process. The Canadian voter isn’t that sophisticated imo and can easily be bought off with a few trinkets. Like the Liberal environmental policy, really won’t accomplish anything except cost us money but it makes the average voter feel like they are doing something good.

Many of the far right views on Agriville aren’t even acceptable within the Conservative Party. Moe, Kenney, palister, Ford and McKay are much more centrist in their views and governance. Most of you have have little hope of even changing the Conservative party let alone having an impact at a national level.

What you think of as far right, are simple conservative values. I am reading a book right now about politics of yesteryear in Canada. Today’s conservatives are yesterday’s liberals. There is not a true Conservative party anymore, but we right folks will take as good as we can.

For me, the Conservative party is far too left for my liking, but what choice is there? It’s either liberal, who are now communists, or conservatives.

It is for sure a conundrum to be a real conservative in this country, because there is little choice.

Supply management only works for things where one can manage supply . One thing CWB supporters never could get wrapped in their heads . Mother Nature manages grain supply And quality in western Canada , not a handful of socialists in Winnipeg.
Never did function properly, never could .
Being confused is watching and agreeing what’s going on in society today, and not truly understanding climate change , or refusing to acknowledge the other real drivers .

Thing is for someone to vote conservative they have to believe in at least some of the things conservatives talk about and believe. I have only ever heard you list every single fault you can find through history perpetrated by a conservative government and dismiss any liberal faults especially the latest bunch. It is unfathonable that someone like that ever supported the conservatives or better yet, worked on a campaign. Your telling fairytales again.

So do you want to list the parties that are against supply management?
