I actually think our peas will be a bit better than last year. No stunted patches from root rot. But a too cold start with adequate moisture seeding conditions then too dry before the first good rains came has taken it's toll on the crop.
There is no calender, or front cover of a magazine, pictures to be taken here.
Actually finishing up flowering, those top pods will likely be small.
Our whole crop will probably need another rain to reach a "subdued" full potential, moisture is still basically at the surface but one more good shot of rain will help fill it and plump up what will fill. Fingers crossed.....we've come a long way from what was beginning to look pretty darn critical.

20% of canola is not good at all with very poor emergence. Is what it is this year

My expectations are probably alot lower than some people's. A lifetime of farming in the Slum of the Ghetto will do that to you.

Parts of oz mostly in the west had great season saving rain this week, whereas a lot of South and east Australia starting to turn dry.
No issues yet but worrying trend

This is fortitude durum seeded on lentil stubble with 80#N (60%ESN) with a micro snake oil called Golden Harvest.
Passing on all fungicides this year.
