It's quite common to reciever unsolicited articles in the mail from Chinese companies apparently. Supposedly some Chinese online retailers like Alibaba use shipments as a way to verify the popularity of an item or company, so they are given a higher rating and moved up the list of trusted retailers. So to appear like they are doing more business than they actually are they will ship items of junk around the world. I would suspect these seeds would be in a similar vein.

If that were the case, they would send rocks or sea shells - cheaper.

Bioweapon round two
It seems that there are large political divisions within China, some of which long for an open conflict with the US. It seems that one of these factions (a smaller one) has put it on themselves to commit a form of bio-warfare on the West. These seeds have been identified as a GMO modified invasive species of weed that can kill all plants that are near it. It is a soft bio-weapon to cause a problem with our food crops. If this weed get's out and into our food crops, it has the potential to be devastating. IF YOU RECEIVE ANY PACKAGE THAT YOU DID NOT ORDER FROM CHINA (or anywhere else for that matter) or a package that you DID order but which contains what appears to be seeds, DO NOT throw them away or flush them down the toilet and definitely DO NOT plant them! You can turn them in to the local Department of Agriculture or BURN THEM. These weeds have been modified (weaponized) to invade any plants that are near them and "graft" its roots into the neighboring plant thereby killing the plant. This weed has been engineered to be Round Up resistant as well as other common weed killing agents. The only way to get rid of the weed is to pull them up. However, if any part of the root remains in the ground, it will continue to grow and spread. According to Spirit, these seeds are being sent by a splinter group of the communist party and not directly from the Peoples Republic of China government proper. Apparently there is a faction that want's to destroy the US food crops (and other Western countries) while China suffers severe floods and crop losses. The other goal is to incite a conflict between China and the US which some military elements within China want very badly at this time. Spirit also confirmed that if something is not done soon at the Three Gorges Dam, it will fail. This failure has the potential to displace over 500 million people and would definitely harm the Chinese economy and put the communist leadership under harsh scrutiny. They are already under pressure from the people of China for their lack of care and effort put toward those in the flooded areas of China. Nearly half of China is under flooded conditions and little to no aid has been given to those who are displaced. To the north, food crops are going through a drought that is killing the fields while in the south, they are being flooded and killed. The people of China are upset and Spirit says that "China will look inward..." as these problems get worse. https://www.wusa9.com/article/news/local/virginia/virginia-department-of-agriculture-warns-residents-of-seeds-from-china/65-2e195255-f7e9-46bf-8bea-f711415af3c3 wusa9.com
