Noticed one fall all the laying hens were loosing their feathers so went on the internet (dial up) and figured out they had bird lice. No cure other than kill the flock. Took me 5 minutes to think of trying diatomaceous earth. Waited for them to settle down on the roosts and tossed some on them. Well all hell broke out and had to find a different method of application. Spread it on the roosts before they settled down ,worked like a charm. Can't beat the taste of free range turkey.
