Why am I seeing so many edge ads, like on pioneers site? I would sometimes use it but the **** and pillage seed types pencil better. It's way overpriced and incorp aint cheap.

I do not incorporate. Put down at 18lb/ac (old formulation) about 3-7 days ahead of seeding and use a shank seeder in one pass. Results are typically decent, but have struggled with kochia on fencelines, and buckwheat which will germinate after potency starts to degrade. For Yellow Mustard it's a must. There are ZERO in-crop broadleaf solutions.
I've also used it on red lentils as I try to avoid hiring someone to dessicate before harvest. If you can avoid the dessication, I figure the edge pays for itself in avoided custom applicator fees, chemical costs, and crop trample. Yield bump from decreased weed pressure is likely another bonus.

The stuff really is too expensive though. Not the best on wild oats either.
I think fall application would be better than spring( If time permits).
Too expensive???? ....especially if you have to follow it up with another in crop herbicide to clean up what it is registered to control or suppress.
Only farmers accept poor performance of product....pay the full cost without any compensation when it doesn't perform....but labels are written to pass risk and responsibility of product performance on to the user.

In some crops Authority is a decent option over Edge. Light rate for Kochia only.
But most of those herbicides need moisture to activate them
