Here’s part of the problem. I seen a video on FB of a trucker going through the gears on a Detroit diesel and a five and four. He was being kept busy. Today the trucks are automatic smooth riding so these guys are putting their feet up on the dash and watching Netflix on their phone. I’ve seen it myself

Same thing happened very close to here last year - tractor-trailer blew through a stop sign, T boned a SUV and killed 3 people from one family, a toddler survived. Same nationality driving the truck.
