    They are going to look at extracting hydrogen from the gas reserves which makes sense. Maybe all those fossil reserves can be used for cleaner hydrogen?
    Chuck2 I believe the only contribution from the government of Alberta is the use of land for proof of concept, no money from the provincial government is being invested in this project. As usual you are wrong but I do enjoy this aspect of your posts!

      If this gets built then doesn't work out yes provincial money will be invested. Not going to leave a dilapidated pipe dream fall apart all the way from Edmonton to Calgary. Just like abandon oil wells.

        To build on that I think the land was actually already committed under the previous NDP government anyhow, basically just an announcement for a feel good story.
