    Best crop of canola I’ve seen is the stuff my neighbor is cutting now, seeded may 29th. But it’s all pretty darn good out here. As sf3 would say, we’re back. Lol

      Then you are definitely in a different league than us regarding heat units. Canola seeded 3 weeks earlier than that is no where near being ready to swath.

        Hutterites Protilled all their canola fields here last week. Drowned out from wet first half of summer.

              It’s not ready to swath by a long shot in my view. But with impending frost, they are whacking it down. We hit plus 30 ONE day.

                That's what we had here last yr turned into a November harvest with a lot of green locked in and spoiled in the bin and bags.
