The story in the movie will be the furthest thing from the truth , we all know that .
The concern is and I agree with Blathin , the hyper sensitive anti GMO crowd will run wild with this when released. Social media was in its infancy back then . The problem will be how the anti GMO crowd and SJW’s sways Joe Public .... that’s a concern for all of us . This will not be about evil Monsanto any more , they got buried into Bayer , then again into BASF . We may be the target now .... farma nailed it .... beware of unintended consequences...
It could be a giant bear trap .....
the story would be great , if it were true , that’s the problem . Percy got caught , then played the victim card ..... very similar to many events today ... everyone claims to be the victim with zero responsibility for their own actions.
I hope that is wrong , but I fear not .
On the flip side it will put pressure on the Ag industry to back off on the current issues of seed entitlement going forward..... will be interesting.
Then again it may just get little attention and go away , but I doubt that .
At the end of the day , we as farmers need to be making more money for the risks involved . Every one else in the Ag industry is taking way too much of the pie for farmers to remain viable , and it’s getting worse every single year.
Change needs to happen , and soon .
So I am on the fence with this Percy thing .... again . It’s like dragging up the age old CWB debate ... never seems to go away .
We have more than enough major issues to deal with daily already , again farma hit the nail on the head .

heres one , deregister perfectly good varieties so farmers have to keep buying new varieties that many times are worse than the ones they are replacing , SFA in it for the guy paying the fu-ken bills
