Are these the same whales that jpartner on NAT used to talk about? Market participants big enough to move the market at will, and do so undetected?

Strange that all months out to NOV21 had more or less the same thing happen at 02:42 and that Farma just happened to be up watching......hmmmmm

              A whale from the Ghetto.
And an insomniad whale at that.

I sleep hard and fast. Woke up and was reading my Dad's medical lab and imagery results, flipped over to ICE and just about fell off my chair. Sometimes it's good to miss some stuff.
Then sometimes it's hard to get the hamster off the wheel and get it back to sleep.....

Now whales in the Ghetto, only minnows.

Small fish in a big ocean, always swimming in SaskFarmer's turbulence.

Look what happened the last time it looked like it was going to shït the bed....

disclaimer: "past performance is not indicitive of future results" (until I sell some more)

                      Canola up $4/tonne.

Will it make an attempt to break out of the upper range. Or is there no new bullish news to drive it any higher short term?

Got to wonder what prices will do if a large portion of Western Canada remains dry up to seeding season.

Price canola at the upper end of the range or hope for a break. Not a very large range though.

Kinda early in the marketing year yet.

But we are living in uncertain interesting times.

Jan looks a little more lively.

                          March to July inverse.
