Everyone knows what happened last night,,, time to narrow the basis boys !
Nobody will be selling anything more than contracted,,, till you do. Your party with -$44.00 basis is over! Lots of bins space this year. haha

We escaped a killing frost dropped down to -1 in the middle of the night before clouding up an warming up again. Soaking wet, shouldn't have done much harm. Still need weeks without a killing frost here. Canola plants turning color, but very few seeds indicating color change. Wheat a barley were looking riper from the road, but the weekend rains lodged a bunch more, and now the green is evident from a distance.

Isnt that weather? Rest of the month looks normal.

If the shoulder months in Canada are shortened meaning we are seeding in April and have an open fall and this happens 5 yrs in a row, I will sign up to chucks climate cult.

Could have been worse. Garden top third of corn froze and pretty much top 70 percent of cucs and squash. Not quite a killing frost here but enough.
