Frost almost like snow on swather.
Thought it was dust coming up.
        - 4 on the way home just now.
Average first frost for scott , is September 6,
So we definitely do have global warming.
I hate it when it does not freeze till the end of September.
, that means we are due for one 10th of August
Or in july , that was a good one,I thought I had left
Clean grain cover off . Big swath zero in hopper..
And by the way I have seen snow every month except
August, and it only missed that by one day july 31

Another thing , when the flowers got froze in the wheat in july, would that be counted as a late spring frost .
        Or early fall frost?8

We had some cloud cover roll in last night and blunted the cold. I dont see frost on the roof or windshields this morning. An hour or two under zero.

Windows well frosted on the vehicles. Sunflowers and pansy’s are looking it, otherwise can’t see anything. Once the sun comes up we’ll see.

Plus one coldest I saw. Was colder while it snowed last evening. Clouds came in. No visible frost. Was plus one all night long. Guys may have dodged a bullet. Can’t believe it.

My hailed barley is kind of needing a hard frost to kill off the regrowth. I always wilt in my inner being with the first frost. What a depressing day. High of 5 for sept 7 must be near record ridiculous.
I’m with you on the first frost and snow. Always signalling the start of winter which is wayyyyyyy to long anyways. Used to bring nice harvesting weather after the first hard frost but not anymore. Just more mud and shorter days to deal with it lately it seems.

Another inch of rain over the last few days here. Someday that will end.........😉
