Trudeau prorogued parliament because the committees were getting far to close to the truth about his latest scandal. In a minority, the opposition parties have the majority, so he can’t control the committees and shut them down by outvoting the opposition like he did with the last scandal.
This in my opinion is why the cons won’t force an election until they get the chance to dig deeper into Trudeau gross corruption. The committees restart as soon as parliament reopens with the throne speech. Even a so called poison pill, I would bet the cons “support†the throne speech so they can get to the truth of the WE scandal.
