Looks like more people have died from overdoses due to the lockdown in Alberta than have died from Covid. I bet the numbers for suicide look very similar. Priorities?

Probably a combination of both Covid and the bottom falling out of the oil industry, maybe some drug habits. ETC.

Exactly, it’s a repeat of what we see here locally on some First Nations , not all but some .
Free money, idle time ... work ethic plunges and drug related crime and deaths spike .

Because we often hear on Agriville that for First nations people it's their own fault that they aren't doing so well.

Yes times in Alberta are not great for laid off workers. The integrated oil companies are still making money though. But big booms in the oil patch are often followed by big busts. We have seen it before in the resource sector subject to big price swings.

The fall in prices and hardship has also affected the oil industry in Texas and North Dakota and around the world. Blame the politicians! hahahah
