Very impressed with how they turned out here this year. And the height is 7-10 feet as well. That late heat wave made something of it. Before that you could see the volunteer canola in it from the road😉
The moo moos should be happy this winter.

More rain delays coming here ....
I guess cereals still not dry from Sunday’s 1.5 in
Maybe some late yesterday
Canola swaths just dry yesterday
Hopefully have good day today and get a bunch more dry canola in bin before tonight.

Lerner has us on the edge of rain again, tired of living on the edge.
Need to get into the "zone" one of these times.

Finished the barley tonight! Still have some late canola that needs swathing pronto and that’s it for threshing. Now onto picking bales, manure, fieldwork, cow doctoring, and some dirtwork possibly.
But first .......... a bottle of spiced rum has my name on it🥃
Hope everyone is making decent progress. Light rain here tonight. This has been the nicest harvest weather in five years. Loooong overdue😉

Well we reached 2/3 done last night. I think only the second day this fall we had both combines running. Drive tire went on one and it took 2 days to get the tire and get it put on. Many other small irritating break downs but that is to be expected with combines over 10 years old.
We have 2 fields of wheat left and onto the canola. Wheat has certainly been a disappointment, too many drowned out acres. So far we are averaging below last year on wheat yields. More rain than last year, less grain than last year!
