Had light showers again last night here , nothing significant at all but enough to make pods tough
Actually had light showers / rain 5 out of last 7 days . Not a lot but enough to slow a guy down

Fireworks 💥 and rum tonight hopefully if things hold together lol .

Oh and break ins and thefts continue virtually daily around here.
Good thing is more guys are getting done and the “watch” is on .

Yup, puddles on the highway again this morning. None forecast. This is a real special place to farm.

              Congrats furrow👍

Just some second cut and late canola left for us. I’m utterly amazed at how things have gone somewhat smoothly here when the weather actually cooperated for more than a day at a time.

Mallee. Grand pictures! Hey, I’m looking at a buying a couple of advantage feeders. Are they worth every penny?

Can see the end in sight now, if combines hold together 2 days left of standing canola.

Hate to sound like a broken record but my harvest mood is one of surprise. I have to be honest I thought my canola was as good as last year but no such luck, down 7-8 bushels per acre from last year. Considering the good moisture conditions this year I had hoped for better.

We’re down to 10 quarters left it’s a great feeling to see the end.

Heavy fog this morning till now and it got to -3 last night so our first killing frost.

                          Garden is done.

You unload on the go between swaths, that’s got to be a pain for the cart driver. We always unload on the outside swath.

It’s pretty hard for all the combines to be on an outside swath when getting full.
