Because there are no reporters in canuckistan today. They are all propagandists. Right now there mission is to head off Wexit by trying to promote the idea that ottawa is somehow relevant out west and not all of its budget is spent east of lake superior bribing the eastern vote. Nice try.

What should be written is it is the biggest waste of money considering...

1. Dryland farmers have closed the gap considerably in production on minimum rainfall.

2. Irrigation will be subsidized forever...as the existing projects are.

3. Very few will actually grow food for stores on the projects...

4. There is plenty of projects that would serve all people as to opposed to just a select few...

Don’t have to head off wexit at all. It’s going nowhere fast on its own. Alberta is on the receiving end of federal transfers and asking for more to weather the downturn. And Kenneys turning socialist with a proposed state owned oil company to invest in the oil sands! LOL
