    Nutrien is always the highest big or small farmer. Not sure how they keep their market in some places.

                Was just looking into this and quotes
                46 - $425
                11-51 - $655
                20-0-0-24 $385
                Moderate amounts so no big volume discount. Nutrien prices and the independent I usually buy from is about $20 higher on each.

                  $425 urea sounds darn good.

                  First 2/3 I committed to wasn't that low. The last third even higher.

                  I'm not sure what people consider a high volume

                      How committed to a local retail should producers be?

                      Is there a point where shopping local costs just too much?

                      Smaller independents might not even get the volume discount large retailers get that can be "partially" passed on to the retail customers.

                      Maybe small retails with loyal local customers take advantage of those customers, maybe a year's business somewhere else will make them appreciate them?
