Our pile of barley. 65,000 bus
1 bus is approximately 330 beer
We will get probably $4.50 delivered
But I guess everyone else up the food chain needs to make money lol . I know it’s just economics and all . If everyone up the food chain took just 5% less we could get $8/9 / bus easy . But we get the scraps ... ahhh farming is so easy ...

      Start hauling Monday
Will use a snow blower on a 9030 bi directional tractor and a couple 10 inch augers
Been a few years since we have done this .

And the value of beer sold will be $42,900,000! You got a shitty percent of sales, no profit sharing? And with out your barley...be cans of WATER!

Yup that’s just one pile , think of all the wealth the grain , oilseeds and pulse crops create in this Canadian economy.
And it all starts in the soil with hard work and a tremendous amount of time and effort by all farmers.
That’s what wealth creation is , not government handouts

And yet with low interest rates that Freeland talks about farmers cant get interest free advances on the full amount for their contribution to the economy

Yup but let’s throw money at every other sector that creates zero wealth .... no wonder why we are in deep trouble as a nation
The US gets it , they value Ag
