      Ontario and Quebec have a lot more for profit private health care for seniors. The results from the spring speak for themselves.

      Australia does a better job of long term senior care. I think they have national standards. Healthcare is primarily the responsibility of the provinces and premiers. So the biggest part of any problems rest with them. The feds are talking about national standards for senior care but some provinces are not interested.

        or the hundreds of millions he has given away to his other pet projects instead of helping those seniors who helped build this country ?? Nope
        BTW I agree on the seniors homes but completely baffled why the media and other political parties have not been not all over Trudeau other than Pierre. In fact the NDP leader rewards Trudeau by basically jumping into bed with him .... not surprising though

                Sawfly, you do know the polio vaccine took almost 20 yrs to develop. Vaccines these days take 10 yrs.

                What do you think is going to happen here if we have to wait that long for one? Or if somehow they get one fast tracked and its only 30% effective. Do you have any idea how long it will take to vaccinate the world? Do you know it takes a vaccine 3 weeks to a month to become effective in your body.

                A vaccine also relies on a decently strong immune system to work. How are the immune systems of all those 85 yr olds this is supposed to save.

                Herd immunity is underway whether you or cnn like it or not.

                Trump was right to chase a the****utic before a vaccine. Thats the only way this gets blunted. It will never be stopped.
